Description
"Galloping Goose" by Thom Zehrfeld
Welcome to my fine art photography! The Galloping Goose is a motor railbus that resides in Willamina, Oregon, which is not too far from the Oregon Coast.
It was built in 1923 to transport folks from Willamina to Grand Ronde, which is not too far away. It received its name because it tended to waddle down the tracks and the whistle sounded like a goose honk.
This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures to give the image more detail and color, and then incorporating a unique painted effect.
