Thank you for visiting my fine art photography site! Virginia City, Nevada is home to this elegant Pullman Car. It sits below the main street of town.
There is also a small collection of cabooses, on display along with this Car. The door on the back says "Private".
Just a guess, but maybe it belonged to a railroad magnate at one time. "Pullman Cars" are railroad sleeping cars and, are named after George Pullman who founded the company that built them, starting in the eighteen hundreds.
This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range by combining three different exposures to give the image more detail and color. Texture was added for a unique final image!
