"Yaquina Bay Sunset" by Thom Zehrfeld
Yaquina Bay is in Newport on the Central Oregon Coast. The Bay Bridge in the background is one of the most recognizable bridges in Oregon dating back to 1936.
The bridge uses Art Deco and Art Moderne design motifs as well as forms borrowed from Gothic architecture. The bridge is on the National Register of Historic Places.
This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures to give the image more detail and color, and then incorporating a unique painted effect.

Thom Zehrfeld lives in Newport, Oregon on the Central Coast and, is fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful spots in Oregon! The ocean, the beach, the sea's fresh air naturally inspires his art! There is always something exciting to capture with a camera!
