"Windmill and Tulips" by Thom Zehrfeld
A smattering of red tulips and one very colorful windmill! This is located at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in Woodburn, Oregon.
Folks come from all over the country to take in this beautiful place. The very first windmills were built to automate the tasks of grain-grinding and water-pumping in Persia way back when.
This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures to give the image more detail and color, and then incorporating a unique painted effect.

Thom Zehrfeld lives in Newport, Oregon on the Central Coast and, is fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful spots in Oregon! The ocean, the beach, the sea's fresh air naturally inspires his art! There is always something exciting to capture with a camera!
