Thank you for visiting my fine art photography site! This is a view of Dock 7 in Yaquina Bay in Newport on the Oregon Coast.
Newport is home to Oregon's largest fishing fleet and, probably the West Coast.
In the foreground, are a half dozen dinghies that tourist can rent when visiting Newport. Yaquina Bay offers a great sailing opportunity. Off to the right, one can buy fresh Tuna in season.
In the background, is the famous Yaquina Bay Bridge constructed in 1936 and the most recognizable bridge in Oregon. The U.S. Coast Guard Station (red roof) is off to the right.
This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures to give the image more detail and color, and then incorporating a unique painted effect.

Thom Zehrfeld lives in Newport, Oregon on the Central Coast and, is fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful spots in Oregon! The ocean, the beach, the sea's fresh air naturally inspires his art! There is always something exciting to capture with a camera!
