"Ghosts Of An Era Gone By!" by Thom Zehrfeld

Step into a time when textile manufacturing was second only to agriculture. This old mill, Mission Mills in Salem Oregon is haunted with the ghosts of an era gone by.

But, the lights are on and just maybe you can push a switch somewhere...the machinery starts and everything will be just like it was in years gone by.

Now, for the sad part. This room has been gutted and turned into a big conference room.

This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures, and then incorporating the results into a digital painting.
