The scene is a Fishing Charter Service Dock located in Yaquina Bay, which is in Newport on the Oregon Coast.
It is early morning and a number of folks are getting ready to board one of the boats and go fishing out in the Pacific. Depending on the season, they fish for rock fish, ling cod, halibut and crab.
This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures to give the image more detail and color, and then incorporating a unique painted effect.

Thom Zehrfeld lives in Newport, Oregon on the Central Coast and, is fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful spots in Oregon!
