"Aguero" by Thom Zehrfeld
The "Aguero" is a fishing vessel, located in Newport on the Oregon Coast. Aquero, in Spanish translates to "omen"! One meaning is that it is a bad omen for fishermen to learn how to swim??

This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures to give the image more detail and color, and then incorporating a unique painted effect.

Thom Zehrfeld lives in Newport, Oregon on the Central Coast and, is fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful spots in Oregon! The ocean, the beach, the sea's fresh air naturally inspires his art! There is always something exciting to capture with a camera! Photography awards include the “McLoughlin Promenade” which is displayed at the Clackamas County Historical Museum in Oregon City. Also, he has won the Springbok National...

I think this is one of my favorite pieces in your gallery. The muted colors coupled with the mist makes this a very mystical and mysterious piece. Lots to look at. Wonderful post work. L/f for sure. And congrats on the feature.
