"Little J" by Thom Zehrfeld
The "Little J" is a member of one of the largest fishing fleet in Oregon. She is based in Newport on the Central Oregon Coast.
The morning light is perfect! The Little J is sort of all by herself and, of course cool reflections coming off of her. In the background is Yaquina Bay and the Bay Bridge. The Coast Guard Station is off to the right, closest to the bridge.
This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures to give the image more detail and color.

About Thom Zehrfeld
Thom Zehrfeld lives in Newport, Oregon on the Central Coast and, is fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful spots in Oregon! He uses mostly color, adding textures and, lately has gone head first into digital painting...giving some photos a dimension that allows for a very unique look. Photography awards include the “McLoughlin Promenade” which is displayed at the Clackamas County Historical Museum in Oregon City. Also, he has won the Springbok National...
