"Home Sweet Home!" by Thom Zehrfeld
"Home Sweet Home" may be an old storefront from another era. Looking through the part right over the doorway, it looks like the roof and ceiling in back are missing.
Hard to see but, you can see part of a tree and the sky. The tin roof in front needs a little work! The structure is sort of attached to another newer and nicer building on the left.
Anyway, it looked like an image that could be out of the old west. This place was found a little bit inland from the Oregon Coast.
And, it was found in a fairly nice neighborhood. This tells me that there is some historic significance attached.
This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures to give the image more detail and color, and then incorporating a unique painted effect.

Thom Zehrfeld lives in Newport, Oregon on the Central Coast and, is fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful spots in Oregon! The ocean, the beach, the sea's fresh air naturally inspires his art! There is always something exciting to capture with a camera! However, it's not all seascapes...Thom likes capturing automobiles, trucks, motorcycles. And, he travels many places to do just that! He uses mostly color, adding textures and, lately has gone head first into digital painting...giving some photos a dimension that allows for a very unique look. Photography awards include the “McLoughlin Promenade” which is displayed at the Clackamas County Historical Museum in Oregon City. Also, he has won the Springbok National...
