The Yaquina Head Lighthouse is a major attraction on the Central Oregon Coast! The lighthouse was constructed around 1868 and still uses its original French-made, Fresnel lens! It has even been in the movies: "The Ring", "Hysterical" and in the television series "Nancy Drew Mysterious"! Recently, it received a paint-job...it looks better than ever! Folks come from all over the country to visit this magnificent lighthouse! There is also a visitor's center that is a must place to check out!

Thom Zehrfeld lives in Newport, Oregon on the Central Coast and, is fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful spots in Oregon!
