Yaquina Bay is on the Oregon Coast in Newport,Oregon. It boasts the largest fishing fleet in Oregon if not the West Coast.
The setting is a magnificent sunset reflecting the Yaquina Bay Bridge in the water along with the fishing boats. The sun has actually set. But, there is still significant light to color the sky and water.
This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures to give the image more detail and color.

Thom Zehrfeld lives in Newport, Oregon on the Central Coast and, is fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful spots in Oregon! The ocean, the beach, the sea's fresh air naturally inspires his art! There is always something exciting to capture with a camera!
