Welcome to my fine art photography site! The Yacht M.V. Discovery was built in 1931 for Hollywood advertising mogul Mr William Morris.
She is moored in South Lake Union in Seattle, Washington. Restored and, at 87 feet in length, she has a perfect blend of old world charm and modern perks. Yes, you can even take a cruise on her to Canada and Alaska.
This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures to give the image more detail and color, and then incorporating a unique painted effect.

Thom Zehrfeld lives in Newport, Oregon on the Central Coast and, is fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful spots in Oregon! The ocean, the beach, the sea's fresh air naturally inspires his art! There is always something exciting to capture with a camera! However, it's not all seascapes...Thom likes capturing automobiles, trucks, motorcycles. And, he travels many places to do just that!
