"Showboat" by Thom Zehrfeld
The "Toledo Showboat" is really a house boat moored in Toledo, Oregon which is seven miles east of Newport on the Oregon Coast. She sits on the Yaquina River and is colorful to say the least.
Up close, it looks ship shape and ready to sail. Toledo...yes, named after Toledo, Ohio is a cool little mill town and major boat repair place.
This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures to give the image more detail and color, and then incorporating a unique painted effect.

Thom Zehrfeld lives in Newport, Oregon on the Central Coast and, is fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful spots in Oregon! The ocean, the beach, the sea's fresh air naturally inspires his art! There is always something exciting to capture with a camera!
