There is this place just south of Lincoln City on the Oregon Coast aptly named Gleneden Beach. It's laid back! "We will worry about it tomorrow...maybe!", type of community.

If you are a tourist and driving down Highway 101 you'll go right by it and not see it. It is completely camouflaged with vegetation, you'll miss it from the road.

That is by design! It is a tranquil community full of cool old beach cottages. These yellow chairs sit out next to a cottage that is right on the beach.

So, how does one relax when you have a view overlooking the beach and the Pacific Ocean? Do you kick off your shoes, open a bottle of nice wine?

And, maybe take time to smell the flowers, too!

This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures to give the image more detail and color, and then incorporating a unique painted effect.
