"Portland Sunday Walk" by Thom Zehrfeld
This is the walkway along Tom McCall Waterfont Park, bordering the Willamette River. The Portland Maritime Museum is the boat off to the right.
Given any day, Portlanders love to walk along the river and take in the tranquility of the area. The Waterfront Park is downtown and, is very convenient for folks, who work in the area to take a nice walk during the lunch hour.
However, this capture was made on a Sunday and, many of the folks on a walk here come from all over to take in the scene. The Morrison Bridge is in the background and the high rises are on the eastside.
This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures to give the image more detail and color, and then incorporating a unique painted effect.
