Haystack Rock is located in Cannon Beach on the North Oregon Coast. It is a 235 foot "Sea Stack" sitting in the Pacific Ocean. It can be reached at low tide.
Folks can easily explore the tide pools adjacent to Haystack. It is a very popular touristy place because of its proximity to Portland and, because Cannon Beach itself is a thriving art community.
This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures to give the image more detail and color, and then incorporating a unique painted effect.
