"Dorena Covered Bridge 1949" by Thom Zehrfeld

Thank you for viewing my fine art photography! The Dorena Covered Bridge was built in 1949 to span the Row River in Cottage Grove, Oregon. It was built for a tad over sixteen grand. Today, you couldn't put the guard rail up for $16,000. Over the years, the bridge has been bypassed by a concrete highway. However, the bridge itself is in great shape. The Cottage Grove area boosts some seven covered bridges...well worth the visit.
