"Crocosmias On The Siuslaw" by Thom Zehrfeld
The Crocosmias are located on the bank of the Siuslaw River in Florence on the Oregon Coast. The Siuslaw River Bridge is in the background.
The Bridge is on U.S. Route 101 and was designed by Conde McCullough and built in 1936. It is in the art deco mode.
Crocosmias are among the most beautiful flowers in the world and come in basically red, orange, yellow.
This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures to give the image more detail and color. A special texture effect was added for a unique final image!

Thom Zehrfeld lives in Newport, Oregon on the Central Coast and, is fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful spots in Oregon! The ocean, the beach, the sea's fresh air naturally inspires his art! There is always something exciting to capture with a camera! However, it's not all seascapes...Thom likes capturing automobiles, trucks, motorcycles. And, he travels many places to do just that!
