"Couleur" by Thom Zehrfeld
Thank you for visiting my fine art photography site! This is an abstract of an English Rose, one of the most vibrant flowers in the world...full of life...full of "Couleur"!
English roses are some of the most fragrant blossoms available. The double blossoms are a cross between old-fashioned roses and modern ones.
This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures to give the image more detail and color.

Thom Zehrfeld lives in Newport, Oregon on the Central Coast and, is fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful spots in Oregon! The ocean, the beach, the sea's fresh air naturally inspires his art! There is always something exciting to capture with a camera! He uses mostly color, adding textures and, lately has gone head first into digital painting...giving some photos a dimension that allows for a very unique look. Photography awards include the “McLoughlin Promenade” which is displayed at the Clackamas County Historical Museum in Oregon City. Also, he has won the Springbok National...
