The American Pride is a paddlewheeler and was originally built to cruise the Mississippi and was named the Queen Of The Mississippi.
It cruised and explored St.Louis, Memphis and Louisville. In 2016, it was renamed and now cruises the Columbia and Snake Rivers focusing on Pacific Northwest scenery.
The American Pride was in Astoria, Oregon when this capture was made. Astoria is an excellent place to catch a monumental amount of Pacific Northwest history.

Thom Zehrfeld lives in Newport, Oregon on the Central Coast and, is fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful spots in Oregon! The ocean, the beach, the sea's fresh air naturally inspires his art! There is always something exciting to capture with a camera! However, it's not all seascapes...Thom likes capturing automobiles, trucks, motorcycles. And, he travels many places to do just that!
