"Yaquina Bay Bridge From South Beach!" by Thom Zehrfeld

The Yaquina Bay Bridge in Newport on the Oregon Coast is one of the most recognizable bridges in Oregon. It was designed by Conde McCullough and built in the art deco style in 1936.

Mr. McCullough was an American bridge engineer who is famous for designing many of the bridges on U.S. Route 101. This capture was made from Newport's South Beach Park. The bridge spans Yaquina Bay.

This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures to give the image more detail and color. A special texture effect was added for a unique final image!
