Description
"Afternoon At Yaquina Head" by Thom Zehrfeld
Thank you for visiting my fine art photography site! The Yaquina Head Lighthouse is one of the most popular lighthouses on the Oregon Coast.
It is located at the north end of Newport and jets out about a mile from the main shoreline. It can easily be seen from out at sea.
It actually replaced a lighthouse that is only three miles away. Recently, it received a well deserved paint job.
This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures to give the image more detail and color. Texture was added for a unique final image!
